Exactly as listed on the label: Boron (as boron amino acid chelate) — 10 mg.
What it is
Boron is a trace mineral in foods such as avocados, prunes, raisins, peanuts and apples. Prostacyl lists 10 mg as boron amino acid chelate, a form where boron is bound to amino acids.
Why formulas include it
Boron plays a role in how the body handles calcium, magnesium and vitamin D, and small studies have looked at its link to hormone levels in men. It supports the vitality side of the formula along with vitamin B6.
What the research says — honestly
The NIH Office of Dietary Supplements describes boron research as limited, and no Daily Value has been set. Studies on boron and men's hormone levels were small and short. 10 mg is several times what most people get from food, though it is still half the 20 mg adult upper limit.
Safety notes
Stay within the upper limit by counting boron from any other supplements you take.
Where it fits in Prostacyl
Boron is one of nine ingredients in each two-capsule serving of Prostacyl. It works alongside saw palmetto, pygeum africanum, grape seed extract, pumpkin seed extract and the rest of the formula, rather than on its own. You can see how the groups connect on the ingredients overview.
